The short answer
Our starting packages are Custom quote based on your goals. Start with a $299 one-month pilot; ongoing single-platform plans are indicatively $450–$850 a month, about £378, and $1,200 (about £907) for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube together. Pound figures use the European Central Bank reference rates of 1 October 2026 (Euro foreign exchange reference rates (1 October 2026)); you are billed in USD, so the pound amount moves with the exchange rate.
We do not publish "average UK agency prices", because the surveys behind most averages are small or self-reported. What we can do is show the fixed costs of the alternative, an in-house hire, using official 2026 figures, and the questions that make two quotes comparable.
What an in-house hire costs, at minimum
| Item (2026/27) | Amount | Source |
|---|---|---|
| National Living Wage, age 21 and over, from 1 April 2026 | £12.71 per hour | GOV.UK |
| Full-time pay at that rate (37.5 hours × 52 weeks) | £24,785 a year | Our calculation |
| Employer National Insurance: 15% above the secondary threshold of £5,000 | about £2,968 a year | HMRC |
| Total before pension, equipment, software and management time | about £27,752 a year (£2,313 a month) |
Rates are from National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates and Rates and thresholds for employers 2026 to 2027. Eligible employers can reduce their National Insurance bill with the Employment Allowance, which is £10,500 for 2026 to 2027, so your actual cost may be lower. You would also need to budget for workplace pension contributions, a laptop and editing software, and someone's time to manage the role.
An employee gives you things an agency cannot: someone on site to film every day, who knows your customers by name. If you need that, hire. If what you need is a reliable monthly calendar, edited Reels and someone to publish and report, an outside team usually costs less than the legal minimum for one employee.
What drives a UK quote up or down
- Video. Editing Reels and Shorts takes much longer than a graphic. Filming on location in London or Manchester adds travel and crew time.
- Community management. Answering comments and DMs, and at what hours, is often the biggest hidden cost.
- Number of platforms. Each platform needs its own formats; "the same post everywhere" is cheaper and usually performs worse.
- Ads. Ad management is separate from organic content, and ad spend goes to the platform.
- VAT. UK agencies registered for VAT add 20%. For services bought from abroad the rules are different; ask your accountant how it applies to you.
Where UK audiences are
DataReportal's Digital 2026 UK report counts 55.5 million social media user identities, 79.7% of the population. YouTube reaches 55.5 million, LinkedIn has 48.0 million registered members, Facebook's ad audience is 38.8 million and Instagram's is 35.5 million (Digital 2026: The United Kingdom (Kepios, published 5 Nov 2025)). The LinkedIn figure is unusually high for a population of 69.7 million, which is why B2B and professional services firms in the UK often start there rather than on Instagram.
Rules that affect UK social media
- Ads must be obviously identifiable. The ASA and CMA expect an upfront "Ad" label when content is paid for or gifted (Influencers' guide to making clear that ads are ads; Social media endorsements: guide for influencers).
- Claims need evidence. Prices, "from" offers and comparisons should be accurate at the time of posting.
- Customer data sent to a provider outside the UK is an international transfer under UK GDPR; we only need access to the accounts, not your customer lists (International transfers (UK GDPR guidance)).
Time zones and working hours
India is 4.5 hours ahead of the UK during British Summer Time and 5.5 hours ahead in winter. Your morning is our afternoon, so a brief sent at 9:00 in London can usually be answered the same day. Posts are scheduled for UK peak times. Read more on the UK page or the London page.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much should a small UK business spend on social media management?
It depends on volume and video. A single-platform plan with 30 assets a month is indicatively $450–$850 with us (about £340–642), with a $299 starter month. Compare that with the cost of the hours you or a team member would otherwise spend.
Is it cheaper to hire someone in-house?
At the legal minimum, a full-time employee aged 21+ costs about £27,752 a year in pay and employer NI before pension and equipment. In-house makes sense when you need daily on-site filming.
Do you charge VAT?
We invoice in USD from India. Ask your accountant how VAT applies to services bought from abroad for your business.
Is there a minimum contract?
No minimum term. Plans are billed monthly in advance and cancellation needs 30 days' written notice; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
