Working with a US team from India
For American clients, our India-based working day falls during your night. That sounds like a drawback, and for live calls it is. For content production it often works the other way: you send feedback at the end of your day, and edits are done by the time you start the next one. Posts are always scheduled in your audience's time zone, whether that is Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific.
The practical rule for US clients is written approvals, call times agreed individually at the edge of both working days, and a clear cut-off time for anything that needs to go out the same day.
Hours overlap: US time zones and IST
A 9:00–17:00 day in each main US time zone converted to India Standard Time (UTC+5:30, no daylight saving), for a winter and a summer date.
| Time zone | Your working day (9:00–17:00 local), in IST | Our team’s day ends / starts (18:00 / 9:00 IST), in your local time | Overlap with IST 9:00–18:00 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eastern (New York) | 19:30–03:30 IST (EST, Jan); 18:30–02:30 IST (EDT, Jul) | 07:30 / 22:30 (Jan); 08:30 / 23:30 (Jul) | 0 h (Jan) / 0 h (Jul) |
| Central (Chicago) | 20:30–04:30 IST (CST, Jan); 19:30–03:30 IST (CDT, Jul) | 06:30 / 21:30 (Jan); 07:30 / 22:30 (Jul) | 0 h (Jan) / 0 h (Jul) |
| Mountain (Denver) | 21:30–05:30 IST (MST, Jan); 20:30–04:30 IST (MDT, Jul) | 05:30 / 20:30 (Jan); 06:30 / 21:30 (Jul) | 0 h (Jan) / 0 h (Jul) |
| Pacific (Los Angeles) | 22:30–06:30 IST (PST, Jan); 21:30–05:30 IST (PDT, Jul) | 04:30 / 19:30 (Jan); 05:30 / 20:30 (Jul) | 0 h (Jan) / 0 h (Jul) |
There is no overlap between a standard US office day and a standard Indian office day in any of the four main zones. The closest point is the Eastern morning in summer: 8:30 a.m. EDT is 18:00 IST. US clocks change on Sun 1 Nov 2026 and Sun 14 Mar 2027, which moves every gap by an hour. Arizona (most of the state) and Hawaii do not observe daylight saving time. Call times outside these hours are agreed individually at onboarding.
Pricing for US clients

US social media usage
Figures from Digital 2026: The United States of America (Kepios, published 5 Nov 2025). The report was published on 5 November 2025 and mostly uses data from October and late 2025, so treat these as late-2025 numbers.
| Measure | Value (late 2025) |
|---|---|
| Population | 348 million |
| Internet users | 324 million (93.1% of the population) |
| Social media user identities | 254 million (73.0% of the population) |
| YouTube ad reach | 254 million |
| Facebook ad reach | 198 million |
| Instagram ad reach | 182 million |
| TikTok ad reach (adults 18+) | 153 million |
| Snapchat ad reach | 104 million |
| LinkedIn registered members | 270 million |
Ad reach figures come from each platform's advertising tools and are not the same as monthly active users. LinkedIn reports registered members, which is why its number can exceed other platforms' audiences; it is not directly comparable.
What this means for a US content plan
- YouTube and Facebook reach the widest adult audiences in the table above, so they are rarely wasted effort for a consumer brand, especially one targeting people over 35.
- Instagram remains the main visual discovery platform for restaurants, salons, retail and real estate.
- LinkedIn is the B2B channel: founder-led posts and company pages for consultancies, SaaS, recruiters and commercial real estate.
- Time-zone targeting matters: a national US audience spans four zones, so we schedule key posts for when the Eastern and Pacific audiences are both awake, or split by region.
See how this applies by sector on our industry pages.
US compliance points to know
- Endorsements and influencers: any paid or gifted relationship must be disclosed clearly (Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers; FTC's Endorsement Guides: What People Are Asking).
- Reviews: the FTC's consumer reviews and testimonials rule bans fake reviews, sentiment-conditioned incentives and fake follower or view counts (The Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule: Questions and Answers).
- Housing, employment and financial ads on Meta must use a Special Ad Category with restricted targeting (About ads for housing, employment or financial products and services).
- Healthcare: patient information used in marketing generally needs HIPAA authorization (HIPAA guidance on marketing).
