How Canadian clients work with us
Canada spans five main time zones, and in 2026 two provinces changed how they keep time, so it is worth being precise. Our India-based team works while most of Canada sleeps, which suits a written approval workflow: you review the calendar and drafts during your day, and changes are ready by your next morning. Posts are scheduled on your local time and written in Canadian English. Content in English or Arabic; other languages on request. If you serve Quebec, French-language content is planned at onboarding.
Hours overlap: Canadian time zones and IST
A 9:00–17:00 day in each zone converted to India Standard Time (UTC+5:30, no daylight saving).
| Time zone | Your working day (9:00–17:00 local), in IST | Our team’s day ends / starts (18:00 / 9:00 IST), in your local time | Overlap with IST 9:00–18:00 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pacific (Vancouver, BC) | 21:30–05:30 IST all year | 05:30 / 20:30 | 0 h |
| Alberta (Edmonton) | 20:30–04:30 IST all year | 06:30 / 21:30 | 0 h |
| Central (Winnipeg) | 20:30–04:30 IST (CST, Jan); 19:30–03:30 IST (CDT, Jul) | 06:30 / 21:30 (Jan); 07:30 / 22:30 (Jul) | 0 h (Jan) / 0 h (Jul) |
| Eastern (Toronto) | 19:30–03:30 IST (EST, Jan); 18:30–02:30 IST (EDT, Jul) | 07:30 / 22:30 (Jan); 08:30 / 23:30 (Jul) | 0 h (Jan) / 0 h (Jul) |
| Atlantic (Halifax) | 18:30–02:30 IST (AST, Jan); 17:30–01:30 IST (ADT, Jul) | 08:30 / 23:30 (Jan); 09:30 / 00:30 (Jul) | 0 h (Jan) / 0.5 h (Jul) |
Overlap with an Indian office day is zero for most of Canada; only Atlantic time in summer touches it, by half an hour. Two 2026 changes matter here: British Columbia moved to permanent UTC−7 (Government of BC) and Alberta to permanent UTC−6, so neither province falls back on Sun 1 Nov 2026 (see the IANA tz database 2026d notes). Saskatchewan also stays on UTC−6 all year. Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and the Atlantic provinces still change clocks on Sun 1 Nov 2026 and Sun 14 Mar 2027.

Your card issuer, bank or PayPal will apply its own rate and any fees on the day you pay.

Social media usage in Canada
Figures from Digital 2026: Canada (Kepios, published 5 Nov 2025). The report was published on 5 November 2025 and mostly uses data from October and late 2025, so treat these as late-2025 numbers.
| Measure | Value (late 2025) |
|---|---|
| Population | 40.2 million |
| Internet users | 38.2 million (95.1%) |
| Social media user identities | 33.0 million (82.1% of the population) |
| YouTube ad reach | 33.0 million |
| LinkedIn registered members | 29.0 million |
| Facebook ad reach | 24.6 million |
| Instagram ad reach | 21.0 million |
| TikTok ad reach (adults 18+) | 16.6 million |
| Snapchat ad reach | 13.8 million |
Platform figures are advertising reach reported in each platform's tools, not active users; LinkedIn counts registered members and is not directly comparable.
What the Canadian numbers suggest
- Facebook still reaches more Canadians than Instagram in these figures, so local service businesses should not drop it.
- LinkedIn membership is large for B2B, particularly in professional services, technology and recruitment.
- Bilingual audiences: Quebec has its own French-language rules for business communication; if you market there, check the requirements with your adviser and plan French content accordingly.
Browse our industry pages for sector-specific plans.
Canadian rules we follow
- Influencer disclosure and genuine reviews: the Competition Bureau says material connections must be disclosed clearly and testimonials must reflect real experience (Influencer marketing and the Competition Act).
- Housing, employment and financial ads on Meta have targeting restrictions for audiences in Canada as well as the US (About ads for housing, employment or financial products and services).
- Remembrance Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation are not occasions for promotional posts.
